| Ensuring that you stay on top of all your reading is obviously vital to many people and essential if you want to improve your overall performance. In this information age the more information you have access to the better you will perform.
Our speed reading course take the best elements of those around and will help you to read faster both consciously and non-consciously, giving you the choice to approach materials you want to get on top of in whatever way you consider appropriate.
Tips
Before you even open your book, establish your purpose for reading this particular book. Is it for pleasure? Is it to learn something? What specifically do you want to learn? By doing this, you will be preparing your brain for your reading and take in the necessary information more easily.
Before you start reading, scan your reading at about a page a second, using your finger or a pen to guide your eyes over the page moving over the left hand page from top left to bottom right, and the right hand page from bottom left to top right - in other words a V shape. This will prepare your brain for the reading that is to come and provide you with a lot of information on what the book is about such as overall structure, what the chapter headings are, whether there are illustrations and possibly even a great detail of information from the text itself.
