| What is dialogue?
The term “dialogue” is often used informally as a synonym for conversation or discussion. As a tool for group interaction, it has a more formal meaning. It is used to describe a thoughtful, deep, deliberative group conversation in which members abide by certain norms. It was developed by David Bohm, and fleshed out by William Isaacs. It is a key tool advocated for advancing the discipline of team learning in learning organizations.
